The Pro Skill Builder is a 2–3 day class specifically focused on skill development for the professional end user. It is a high speed, high round count class focused on building a high level of proficiency quickly. This class is designed to be challenging and expose shooters to the limitations of their skill set and equipment.

The class curriculum can be easily modified to focus on pistol, rifle or both platforms. The equipment needed is flexible based on the requirements of the group. It is generally designed around practical duty pistols and rifles.

This class is not designed for beginner or intermediate level shooters, and is only to be attended by professional organizations or highly skilled civilian students. This is done to maintain an effective tempo, class comfort and safety.

Practical Pistol

INTERMEDIATE TO EXPERIENCED · OPEN OR CONCEALED

Practical Pistol is a modern, performance-focused course built around the effective application of the modern duty pistol. Through a progressive series of shooting exercises and drills, students will be challenged to refine critical handgun skills while identifying and pushing the limits of their current abilities.

Beyond developing technical proficiency, the course emphasizes understanding the training process — teaching students how to evaluate their own performance, identify areas for improvement, and continue developing their skills independently. Practical Pistol is designed for intermediate shooters looking to advance their capabilities as well as experienced shooters seeking to refine and maintain a high level of proficiency.

REQUIRED

Ear and eye protection.

OPEN

Duty belt with 2 mag pouches, pistol, holster, at least 3 functional magazines. A dump pouch is preferred to carry loose ammo on the range.

CONCEALED

A rigid concealed carry belt, quality concealed carry holster that completely covers the trigger guard. At least 2 functional magazines.

Practical Rifle

INTERMEDIATE TO EXPERIENCED · TACTICAL CARBINE

Practical Rifle is a modern, performance-focused course built around the effective application of the tactical carbine. Through a progressive series of shooting exercises and drills, students will be challenged to refine critical rifle skills, including weapon manipulation, positional shooting, target transitions, movement, and accuracy across varying distances.

Beyond developing technical proficiency, the course emphasizes understanding the training process — teaching students how to evaluate their own performance, identify limitations, and continue developing their skills independently. Practical Rifle is designed for intermediate shooters looking to advance their capabilities as well as experienced shooters seeking to refine and maintain a high level of proficiency with the carbine.

BASIC GEAR REQUIREMENTS

Serviceable semi-automatic rifle or carbine, sling, reliable sighting system (iron sights, red dot, holographic sight, or magnified optic), minimum of three magazines, magazine pouches or load-bearing equipment, eye protection, hearing protection, appropriate range attire, closed-toe footwear, water, notebook and pen, required ammunition, and any necessary spare batteries, tools, or replacement parts for your equipment.

Introduction to Firearms

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED · CLASSROOM AND LIVE FIRE

Introduction to Firearms is a foundational course designed specifically for individuals with little to no previous firearms experience. The course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to firearms, beginning with safe handling, range procedures, and the fundamental principles of ownership.

Students will learn how firearms and ammunition function, how to safely load, unload, and verify the condition of a firearm, and how to perform basic inspection, cleaning, and maintenance. Classroom instruction introduces ammunition selection and ballistics, firearm terminology, common firearm types, and the operation of their major components. Live-fire instruction focuses on the fundamentals of marksmanship, including stance, grip, sight alignment and sight picture, trigger control, and recoil management, all while remaining safe and responsible.

The goal is to provide new shooters with the knowledge, practical skills, and safety habits necessary to confidently continue their firearms education and training.
